and found access to the depths for each channel. There s no need to quantize. The eye-catching interface allows you to click boxes that activate rhythms by the sixteenth note for each channel, so rhythms are accurate from the get-go. Phat, as they say. It would be nice to have even a part of a help file with the demo. Without one, we wasted time getting into the program. Intermediate users will have a field day with halid beslic miljacka, and advanced users will make the most of the hundreds of variations in tonal qualities for each sound channel. This system tweaker is only for the most trusting of users. halid beslic miljacka's minimalist interface merely displays system memory and hard-disk size counters. A list of options is not accessible. All any user can do is press the Optimize button and hope for the best. The publisher's disclaimer states only that wallpaper and color theme may be lost after optimizing. However, there is no manual or any information that states what Windows Registry settings are changed. Nor does the program have a way to save current Registry settings or undo the process in case of unwanted changes. This program is certainly easy to use, but results weren't impressive and none of our testers found extensive system speed improvements. Some did report that display settings were lost, just as the disclaimer warned. During our tests the publisher's Web site was unavailable. Nothing in the demo application states the length of the trial or what happens to changes after the end of the test period. Making users take a leap of faith isn't the proper way to write software. We can't recommend Registry-changing software that gives so little information as to what changes are made. This simple but functional freeware program offers an easy way to save notes and other snippets of information. Notes doesn't require installation--just run the executable file and a compact window appears. You can resize the window, type or paste text, and select the single option to have the program run at start-up. Text is automatically saved when you close the program, but you can't save individual notes. No print options are offered and you can't change the font or its appearance. No Help file is offered, but one isn't really needed. Though we suspect most users will want a wider range of features, this program worked exactly as promised in testing, and absolutely anyone can use it. This little program lets you trim and normalize audio files, change the tempo or pitch, and strip out vocal tracks. The installation is fast, after which Mp3Doctor immediately opens an online tutorial. The software's main window is small for such a powerful program. All the processes happen rapidly. For example, you press the Karaoke button, select an existing file, then name the karaoke output track, and in seconds Mp3Doctor delivers. Some effects, such as Tempo and Pitch, automatically rename the output track, but most don't. There's no built-in player for checking the effects. The 20-use trial means you only get to try out 20 processes, not 20 sessions. It's annoying how the software pops up registration information before each action, warning you how many uses you have left. Also, the interface could stand more color and some tool tips. Despite its problems, the quality of Mp3Doctor's output should satisfy most music enthusiasts. This single-function application offers a countdown timer for shutting down your computer, but a severe limitation blights its efficiency. halid beslic miljacka's creative knob-like interface lets you set the time by dragging your mouse or choosing from a preset timer of 1, 6, 12, or 24 minutes. The program runs in the system tray. Unfortunately, we can't vouch for its effectiveness. Thanks to its demo restrictions, the program failed to shut down our computer during testing. Users looking for a more-effective program to perform other shutdown functions such as Log Off, Restart, or Hibernate will have no problem finding one from the vast number of similarĀ
